Shares in biotechnology firm Biocon Ltd rose more than 3% after the company reported a 25% rise in its December-quarter net profit.
At 10.15am (0445 GMT), shares in Biocon was trading up 2.7% at Rs387.75, after having risen as much as 3.4%, in the main Mumbai market that was trading down 0.5%.
