Audi clocks 46% growth at 250 units in August

Luxury car-maker, Audi India, today said it has clocked a 46% growth at 250 units in August, as against 171 units in the year ago-period.

 

The company has clocked a 66% growth at 1,876 units during January-August 2010 as against 1,128 units in the same period last year, the company said in a statement here.

 

The company has surpassed its last year's annual sales of 1,658 units, it said.

 

"Having successfully surpassed last year's annual sales performance, we are confident that this consistent growth which Audi India has been witnessing through 2010 will help us achieve our goals for the year," Audi India's head, Michael Perschke, said.

 

Audi is looking to open new showrooms in Delhi, Mumbai (West), Jaipur, Chennai and Ludhiana soon, it said.
