A Group Ltd, the Asian life insurance unit of American International Group Inc, could raise between $5 billion and $10 billion in a planned initial public offering, the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the situation.
The company would list AIA Group in Hong Kong, the paper added.
AIG was not immediately available for comment by Reuters outside regular US business hours.
