The month of June is dedicated to the celebration of LGBTQ+ (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, and Queer) community. The legend has it that to honour the Stonewall riots of 1969, the Pride Parades are organised in this month. On June 28, 1969, gay community did spontaneous, violent demonstrations against a police raid that took place in the early morning hours of June 28, 1969, at the Stonewall Inn in the Greenwich Village neighbourhood of Manhattan, New York City.

Tennis legend Billie Jean King, pop star Lady Gaga, TV star Abby Jacobson, Parkland school shooting survivor Emma Gonzalez were part of the New York Pride Parade on Sunday.

The world saw itself wrapped in a rainbow over the weekend. Here's a glimpse of the celebration of love.
