What is the concept of your store?
To have products that are vibrant, eclectic and full of life. Our products include clothes, footwear, jewellery, home accessories, personal accessories, paintings and lots more.

What styles of clothing are available there?
Indo-Western dresses and tops, tunics, hand-embroidered/hand-painted T-shirts, and hand embroidered kurtas and Anarkalis.

How do you choose the merchandise you sell and how are they priced?
I pick merchandise that I would love to wear myself or products that I would have around my house. It’s also very important for me to personally like the designer/brand we promote at Yellow Button. I’m partial to upcoming designers and indie labels. We also have products from 2 NGO’s that we love to sell here. Every product has been handpicked with care. Our products range from anywhere between Rs90 to Rs7,500.

What type of clientele do you see coming in?
Women who are looking for simple and stylish clothes/products for themselves as well as their homes. People who are conscious of fair trade and those who appreciate handcrafted products.

And lastly, why did you open the store?
To do something I’m truly passionate about (even the boring admin work seems fun!) and be my own boss where I can enjoy my work-life balance.

The store, located at 12th Main, 1st Cross, HAL 2nd Stage, Indiranagar, is having an exhibition and sale on their silver jewellery and clothes. Brownies will be served too!
