Actress Priyanka Upendra makes most of her shopping time.

What does style mean to you?
It’s a reflection of one’s personality and how they want the world to perceive them. For me, style is about comfort and being chic. I am a hands-on mom, so comfort-chic would be my style calling!

What is the one thing you will always reach out for in your wardrobe?
I love wearing all kinds of clothes, depending on my mood, the occasion and of course the weather. I do have a soft spot for denims though.

What kind of a shopper are you, a quick one or do you consider it a leisure activity?
I am not an impulsive shopper. But considering my hectic schedule, I don’t get much time to shop. However, when I do, I know where to find what, which brands and shops cater to my tastes. So I head to the shopping destination of my choice and spend some quality time there!

Who are your style inspirations?
There are lots of them out there! But singer Gwen Stefani is someone I really like. Actor Jennifer Aniston also has a great sense of style and I love her fashion quotient. In Bollywood, actors Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor dress very well, I think.

What according to you comprise closet must-haves?
A great-fitting white shirt for formal and important occasions, a dark-blue denim, which can be teamed up with all sorts of uppers depending on the need, a black top or dress, which can be worn over leggings, denim or even by itself, basic black stilettos and a well-fitted jacket, cropped at the waist.

What are the few things you will never leave without?
My Blackberry phone, because my world is compressed into it. My lip gloss and moisturiser because I constantly need them and of course my house keys!
