Are dreams meaningless?
P Khurrana

Dreams, true or not, but in fact they foretell the coming events in your subconscious mind. It is a natural phenomenon. Yes, dreams are mystic creations on our miraculous mind. It is a guide to our destiny. A dream represents a true message, which is considered to be unexpected, unusual and out of the scope of your routine work. If a person dreams anything with his respective trade than the outcome should be completely ignored. It has no meaning, for instance:

a)  A teacher dreams of a classroom
b) An actor sees his rise or fall
c) A politician delivers a lecture

The Ramayana also has some reference that dream occurs to Trijata (attendant of Sita), resulting in the disaster of Ravana. Lord Buddha’s mother had dreamt that she will deliver a great child who will be well-known saint. Mahatma Rishi Valmiki had seen the arrival of Sita and the birth of Luv and Kusha many years before Sita came to Valmiki’s ashram. Prophet Muhammad caught up in a dream in which he received the first part of the Quran as he slept at night. The Prophet’s dream greatly marked the course of the Islamic faith. It was in another dream that the holy city Mecca, would be for the faithful.

Today, dreams are undertaken by rarely by people because the true calibre is absent in a dreamologist. It’s a fact that each and every dream has got very specific and true meaning. Some say that it is a prophetic message. The dream mind has the ability to operate beyond the accepted laws of space and time. One night, Napoleon had a dream that he was entrenched in molten metal and falling off the earth. Immediately, he awoke and rushed outside. Seconds later, a shell demolished the bunker from which he fled killing every occupant. Dreamology reveals that a good dream such as flying in the air like a bird or riding on an elephant results in prosperity and success. However, some dreams, if understood clearly, convey a direct message from God — foretelling the future.

Are dreams meaningless? Are they from a subconscious state of mind? Can they forecast the coming events? To my mind, to read vision is the most difficult task for accurate interpretation of dream. It is therefore important to understand the in-depth meaning of the dream and to correlate it with day-to-day activities of the dreamer. The dreams can be good or bad but represent a true message which of course, is a guide to your destiny.
However, dreams have always fascinated people of every age group. Some dreams are interesting but a few of them create phobias, fears and horrors on the mind. What precautions you should take at the time of sleeping? How to mitigate the ill-effect of dreams? Prayers, donations, gems, Vaastu or Colour therapy? Watch this space next time.
