On Janury 15th which also marks the festival of Makar Sankranti in several parts of India the Chief Minister of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje posted a video on her Facebook wall.
Tagging it with #MyRajasthan, Raje relesed the new logo of the desert state.
The rather creative video cleverly uses sand art to portray the art, culture, folk music and beautiful palaces and forts of the state.
From the famous Hawa Mahal of Jaipur to the step wells of Abhaneri- Chand Bawri and from traditional turban clad moustached men playing the Kamaicha to women swaying their lehengas and camels lining the desert horizon; the video aptly captures the essence of the state.
