This video of two policemen fighting at an intersection in Lucknow, allegedly over bribe money, has attracted quite the attention.
One of the policemen, identified as Virendra Yadav has been suspended following the incident. An appeal to take action against the homeguard has also been written to the Homeguard Directorate, Superintendent of Police Manjil Saini said.
The policemen posted in the area of Itaunja reportedly work to reduce traffic jams. But while they are at it, they allegedly collect bribe from hawkers and truck drivers.
"This is not true at all. Moreover the video is nearly two-three days old," Saini said.
