Mamta Banerjee and Mayawati have said that they would not support a Modi-led government. In a rally on Friday, Mamta said that if it was her party's government in Delhi, she would put Modi in prison. The Congress fears Modi, she said further. In another press conference BSP supremo Mayawati declared that she and her party would not support Modi or his government.
While NCP leader Sharad Pawar denied that the nation is struck with any sort of Modi wave. He said that the Modi wave is just an illusion created by the media.
Uttar Pradesh chief minister, Akhilesh Yadav also hit out at Modi accusing him of playing politics in the name of caste and religion.
