In Baitul, Madhya Pradesh, a bride showed determination and married her groom who was bound to a wheelchair following a massive accident.
Vikas Lokhande, an official in excise department of Madhya Pradesh, met with an accident a few days before his wedding. His left hand and leg had to undergo complicated surgery which cast a shadow on the future of his soon to be married life. He offered to break the engagement on account of freeing the bride of this unwanted plight.
But bride-to-be Kirti, a school teacher by profession, decided to stand by her fiance and asked family members to go ahead with the preparations for the wedding.
The couple got married on February 25 in Prabhatpattan, Madhya Pradesh. Kriti pushed Vikas' wheelchair at the time of pheras.
