Locals flout social distancing norms in Hyderabad’s Charminar area
Ahead of Eid, people in large numbers thronged markets near Hyderabad's Charminar area to shop for the auspicious day. Despite COVID-19 protocols, social distancing norms were flouted in the market. Heavy traffic jam was also seen in the market area. A 10-day lockdown is in place in Telangana to contain the spread of COVID-19 cases.
