Devshayani Ekadashi: Devotees take holy dip in Triveni Sangam in Prayagraj
Hundreds of devotees gathered at the banks of the Triveni Sangam, Prayagraj on July 20 and took a holy dip in the river on the auspicious occasion of Devshayani Ekadashi. It is believed that Lord Vishnu goes into a state of Yogic sleep on this day and wakes up only after four months. Lord Vishnu devotees observe ‘Vrat’ on the eleventh day of the lunar fortnight.
