Sadhana Amte was creamated and her mortal remains were laid to rest in Anandvan at Warora in Chandrapur district of Maharashtra. Aged 85, Sadhana died of prolonged illness. She was instrumental in helping her husband Baba Amte in setting up a rehabilitation colony for leprosy patients, Anandwan, several decades ago.
