After love stories like Ishaqzaade, Gunday and Jab Tak Hai Jaan Yash, Raj Films is back with a romantic-comedy called Daawat-e-Ishq.The much awaited trailer of the film staring Parineeti Chopra and Aditya Roy Kapur released today with the first time pairing of the lead couple giving a refreshing look.
The story revolves around Gulrez from Hyderabad, a shoe-sales girl and Taru, a Lucknowi cook who can charm people with his delicious food and 'bindass' personality -- two completely opposite people with a spicy love story. Gulrez is on a quest to find her Mr Universe and comes across "Big Boss Hyderi" where she meets the Lucknowi cook. But the love story around this kitchen takes a dramatic twist and turns everything upside-down. The short trailer showcases many elements such as the spicy chemistry between Parineeti and Aditya, the fun and betrayal. After Aashiqui 2, Aditya Roy Kapur has once again proved his acting skills. The film also features Anupam Kher playing the father and Karan Wahi in a supporting role. While Parineeti is seen in her usual bubbly avatar, Aditya is seen sporting a different look with short hair, beard and colorful clothes.
The romantic-comedy is directed by Habib Faisal and produced by Aditya Chopra under the Yash Raj Film banner. Daawat-e-ishq will release on September 5, 2014. Watch the trailer here and let us know what you think of it.
