There is unarguably only one reason to watch this film - to check out the audacity of a visually impaired man to pull off a lead role in an action thriller.

Credit to Nasser Khan for having the nerve to expose himself to public scrutiny in such a way. Also credited with script and dialogue, he almost had a plausible suspense thriller on his hands but alas, that is not what Shadow is. The only reaction to this film is ‘unbelievable’.

It is far from appetising to see Nasser Khan in multiple get-ups or topless diving into a pool. It’s equally shocking to see Sonali Kulkarni as an inefficient and fickle cop gyrating in an item number in costumes that do her no favours. The only moments of relief are when the very easy on the eyes Milind Soman is on screen.

Money has been spent on this effort, but it’s been a waste. Don’t expect to make any sense of this film, there is none. The messaging of the movie is appaling, as are the songs (inserted without connection), choreography and styling. As for Khan’s acting abilities, let’s hope he has fulfilled this dream and pursues another dream next.
