Weddings are the best business in India — a business that remains untouched by recession or inflation. And that’s what the lead pair, Bittoo and Shruti decide to keep themselves busy with.

Of course, their chance meeting is a co-incidence, when Bittoo starts off as a casual flirt but eventually, business matters as well as matters of the heart take a turn.

While the wedding planning business flourishes from the small by lanes of Delhi to the Who’s Who, emotionally too, Shruti gets entangled with Bittoo, only to pull herself out after a heart break. But heart breaks aren’t meant to stay forever and after making a success story of hundreds of marriages, Bittoo and Shruti too live happily ever after.

Debutant director Maneesh Sharma has a fun film, something typically Delhi and like most shaadis there, colourful and vibrant. Unfortunately, the execution seems to have gone haywire like most chaotic weddings. One thing seems to be certain with every Yash Raj Films offering — while they are obviously trying to nurture a new crop of directors, the films lack the spunk that YRF films are known for.

Anushka Sharma completes her hatrick with the production house and seems to have bettered her acting skills, while newcomer Ranveer Singh has a lot to work on. Of course, the pair look together on screen.

With a single number to take back home, the music too doesn’t strike a chord and we’re left wondering why we chose to watch this one!
