Zaheer Khan-Isha Sharvani to tie a knot this March?

With B-Town in full wedding mode, a dash of cricket might soon spice up the shaadi season amongst the glamouratti. The latest buzz adding to the speculations of cricketers set to tie the knot — including Harbhajan Singh (with actor Geeta Basra) and Irfan Pathan (with childhood sweetheart Shivani) — is  Zaheer Khan’s wedding, apparently to long-time girlfriend Isha Sharvani. The couple, who’ve been very discreet about their relationship, may just beat the other two to the wedding post. If sources are to be believed, they will get hitched in the last week of this month.

Says a source close to the rumoured couple, “Zaheer and Isha’s relationship has always been talked about as the type that’s been a through a lot of off -and-on status. But whatever the status, they’ve been careful to keep it rather low profile. Despite the turbulent nature of their relationship in the past,  the two have always hung on to each other.  Even when they were not together, there was no real effort by the couple to date another person. Those close to the couple  insist that the couple’s families have met  and fixed up the last week of March for marriage ceremonies.”

The source adds further, “Though Isha isn’t too active in her acting career, Zaheer has been constantly playing for the Indian cricket team. He’s  currently in Australia for the Tri-series, and will be back in the first week of this month. Since the 20-20  tournaments take off only in the first week of April, it’ll be easy to have a weddding by the end of this  month. Though the wedding is said to be a private affair, the cricketer is expected to throw a gala reception for his fellow team- mates and friends, which also includes  many Bollywood celebs.”
