Yuvraj Singh, overwhelmed with all the love and support

While the entire nation is praying for Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s quick recovery from Cancer, sources close to him assure everyone that he is being treated by the best doctors and will come out strong and healthy. Yuvi has begun his chemotherapy sessions, the first side effect of which is the loss of hair. Though he is away and does not want to talk to anyone right now, he has been keeping in touch with his fans and well wishers through social networking site Twitter.  Bollywood sent its good wishes to the cricketer and Yuvi too has responded to each of his friends.
Actor Amitabh Bachchan who had tweeted that he was shocked to hear about Yuvraj’s illness had offered support to the cricketer.

Yuvi too got back by saying, “Thank your for wishes sir! I’m getting better every day.” Actor Bipasha Basu too sent him a ‘get well soon’ tweet, “Think of strength n power n u will draw it to u. Think of health and u get it! Love!” Yuvi replied, “thank u my dear.” Actor Preity Zinta who is a close friend sent him good wishes as well. She posted, “Get Well Soon Yuvi! Ur a fighter & I have no doubt that u will come out of this fit n strong! My prayers are with U! Lotza love” while he replied, “Thank you preity! Hope you r well xx.”

Yuvraj is also reportedly going to meet cancer survivor, cyclist Lance Armstrong, who won the Tour de France seven consecutive times and was diagnosed with having stage three testicular cancer.” Yuvi further wrote on his Twitter page. “Overwhelmed with the love and support people have given me, I feel joy in my heart that so many wishes will cure me! Iv read every tweet of every fan who has wished me watched all videos! Seen how many prayers are said in temples! I thank you all from the bottom of my heart. Thank you again to all my friends back home! I’m recovering well, yes its tough but tough times don’t last tough men do! I will fight and Come back as a stronger man cause I have the prayers of my nation! And of course everyday I look forward to come back and wear my India jersey my India cap and represent my country again Jai Hind.”
