Why Priyanka Chopra won’t talk about Salman Khan!

Even though actor Salman Khan has taken an open dig at actress Priyanka Chopra by calling co-star Kareena Kaooor the ‘original desi girl’, Chopra is trying her best to steer clear of any controversy involving him.

Over the years, the relationship between the two actors has soured since they started having problems on the sets of the film Mujhse Shaadi Karoge. Not only that Chopra and Salman don’t talk to each other, according to sources, the two have also decided that they won’t act in any movie together too.

Interestingly, actor Shah Rukh Khan has come out in the open supporting Priyanka’s acting skills. But the actress who is supposed to arrive for the film awards function in Toronto has apparently been expressing her reservations about getting into the Salman-Shah Rukh controversy.

“There is a press conference with Priyanka scheduled like any other star, but we don’t know if she will be able to make it. She doesn’t want to talk about anything related to Salman,” says an organiser. “Priyanka is not happy with the fact that Salman is taking jibes at her and this is not the first time that he has done that. She wants to stay clear of that. Also she has already clarified to the media in her last interaction that she doesn’t wish to be dragged into the Salman-Shah Rukh controversy,” the organiser added.

The actor, at an earlier event, said that she is still not confirmed for the film whose story has been written by Chetan Bhagat which apparently has Shah Rukh in the lead.

Priyanka is supposed to perform a special medley in Toronto where she will pay tribute to Asha Bhosle.
