Who is gossiping about Bipasha Basu?

Actress Bipasha Basu is reportedly quite disturbed with the fact that she had to clarify that she and actor John Abraham are very much together, on numerous ocassions lately.

Strangely, though Abraham has maintained a stoic silence on the topic, but there’s buzz that he will soon go on record about his relationship status.

“Till now, Bips has done all the talking, mainly through Twitter. She has clarified that she and John are still together. But Bipasha is very upset with the fact that some people are gossiping about her relationship with John. The duo has managed to stay with each other for eight years in this fickle industry,” says a close friend of the actress.

Though Basu was out of the country, just before leaving town she had said that John still doesn’t forget to surprise her, especially during her birthdays. “John will always have a surprise in store  for me. I am sure that even this time he’ll arrange for a surprise. But I think I know what the surprise is this time,” Basu had said.

According to sources close to Basu, she is under the impression that an actor who was once close to her is responsible for fuelling these rumours about Abraham and her.

“Spreading such gossip about other actors is not new in this industry. Every rival of Bips knows that she will be most hurt if any gossip about her relationship surfaces. Over the years, Bips and John have been through numerous ups and downs, but have still managed to be together. Both have worked very hard on their relationship,” says the source.

So was the couple going through a fight when gossip about their break up was circulated? “There was a fight between the two but they weren’t breaking up or anything like that. There are times when couples don’t agree on something and might not speak with each other for a few days but that doesn’t mean that they breaking up,” ends the source .
