When reel became real for Riteish-Genelia

Actors Riteish Deshmukh-Genelia D’Souza’s wedding that is scheduled to happen today had sparked off a buzz to such an extent that even their filmi marriage was assumed to be a real one. The incident transpired in Patiala recently, while the duo was shooting for their film Tere Naal Love Hogaya.

A source from the sets reveals, “Everyone was very excited about the fact that Riteish and Genelia have paired up once again after their first film so there was a lot of buzz about the fact that the duo was shooting in Patiala. Fans thronged to congratulate the couple even as the duo was performing the wedding scene. But what was not known was that it was actually a film scene being shot. The marriage scene is a very crucial scene in the film and their fans assumed that it was an actual marriage happening in their city. They all wanted to catch a glimpse of the couple and some even rushed on the sets and offered their blessings.”

Some of them even rushed and got sweets and a couple of them landed up with bouquets. Riteish and Gen were touched by the gesture of their fans and did not know how to react.  The couple, who began dating eight years ago, is tying the knot now. The scene was very special to both of them as it had a deeper meaning to them. To make sure, the scene looked authentic, Genelia made a point to personally pick up the entire ensemble for her scene, right from her clothes to jewellery to shoes.
