It’s a fantastic feeling — seeing two of your closest friends getting into a lifetime commitment. Riddhima and Bharat have been very dear to me since the day I got to know them.
Riddhima or Bird as her friends like to call her for her chirpy and talkative nature and Bharat aka Brat (for he’s kinda naughty in a mature manner) have known each other for eight years, which is even longer than I have known either of them. Since the time I saw these two start to date each other, I just knew that this wasn’t just a fling and the duo would tie the knot sooner or later.
They have been through a lot in their long relationship and have come out as a mature couple, having nurtured their mutual affection for over three years. Riddhima, who is very affectionate, has a strong nature, while Bharat is emotional but level-headed at the same time and likes to keep a low profile.
They are absolutely made for each other. With this wedding I certainly agree with the saying that ‘Marriages are made in heaven’. God bless them both.

Designing the Kapoor wedding: She may have a degree in fashion but when it comes to her own trousseau, Riddhima Kapoor has given over the reins to designer duo Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla.
“Keeping in mind Riddhima’s youth and beauty, her clothes have been given a glamorous yet classy touch,” says Sandeep.
The bride will be dressed in a lehenga at the wedding while she would wear a sari for the reception. “Riddhima loves colours, so we have designed her outfits accordingly,” adds Sandeep.
As far as jewellery is concerned, Riddhima will stick to heirlooms passed on by her mom Neetu, who will also sport Abu Sandeep designs on her daughter’s big day.
Father of the bride Rishi Kapoor will be seen in Rohit Bal's creations as will the groom Delhi-based garment exporter, Bharat Sahni.
