Vidya Balan has caught the bug!

Actress Vidya Balan’s been feeling under the weather these past few days and friends and family are quick to attribute it to her hectic shoot schedules.

“She’s roller-coasting from one film into another without taking any break. Soon after she wrapped up Kahaani, then she jumped into her next film already,” said a close friend of the star.

But their biggest complaint is that even now despite being severely unwell and doctor’s advice, she’s refusing to slow down.

“Just yesterday she had another script-reading session and because she was unfit to travel she had it at home,” the friend said. “She doesn’t want her work to suffer, neither does she want to cause anyone inconvenience by cancelling her meetings, so she’s working despite being told to rest,” the source added.

In fact the actress now has just a couple of days to recuperate, as her next shoot schedule is due from July 1 in Hyderabad when she resumes shooting for Milan Luthria’s Dirrty Picture.

“Yes, the shoot begins in the first week of July and we are shooting for some high-energy dance numbers. The songs’ choreography calls for extremely tough and intense dance moves,” said a unit member.

When asked about it to Balan’s friend, she insists that the actress is not seeking to change or cancel any schedules.
