TV actress Sara Khan undergoes surgery for kidney stone

Troubles just don’t seem to end for actress Sara Khan. After a rather unhappy break up with her husband, actor Ali Merchant a couple of months ago, she was recently diagnosed with having a kidney stone. In fact, so bad was the pain that the actor had to be rushed to the hospital on March 23 where she even underwent a surgery.

According to a source, Khan had her first attack of pain earlier this month, which happened to be the same day as the 100 episode party of her show Ram Milaayi Jodi.

The source says, “Sara was quite unwell the day of the party and so shooting had been cancelled that day!  Sara rested during the day as she was keen on attending the success bash in the evening!”

While Khan has had a successful operation and has already returned home, we hear that she is on leave from the show and her absence has apparently sent the shoot schedule for a toss.

When asked about Khan’s absence, producer Rajita Sharma says, “Sara is on her road to recovery and we have told her that she should rest until she is completely fine! We want our Mona to come back completely recovered.”

Khan, reportedly, is a favourite with the entire unit of the show and several of them landed up at the local nursing home where she was admitted. Guess Khan in her testing time has found some real friends!
