Toko Teji from Arunachal Pradesh who drummed his way into the semi-finals of India’s Got Talent Khoj 2, plans to form a band.
"My first priority is to complete Class XII, and later form my own band," 18-year-old Teji, who arrived here yesterday from Mumbai said.
"I have won the hearts of my parents, though there were initial hurdles," he said.
"I hope for the best in the finals. I performed the way my trainers asked me to. If I am selected for the final (the result will be announced on September 24 next) I will be on my own," he said.
His father Toko Jyoti, a superintending engineer and mother Toko Natu said he was attracted to music when he was only seven months.
Teji said he dreamed of performing in New York’s Broadway Theatre.
