There’s something about Kannada actress Rahasya

Yogaraj Bhat’s film Paramathma, with Puneet Rajkumar, is one film that everybody is keeping a watch out for. Arguably the biggest collaboration of recent times, there has been a lot of curiosity surrounding who’ll to star as the lead heroine.

DNA did its bit of snooping around and found that 20-year-old Rahasya, also called Deepa Sannidhii, is allegedly the  chosen one. Our source tells us, “Deepa went through two rounds of auditions and left the Rajkumar family quite impressed. They loved her acting. Apparently, she even cried minus glycerine during one of the rounds, can you believe it!”

However, this team is not going to be introducing the new talent. Deepa will be seen in the lead role opposite Kannada star Darshan in Sarathi before Yogaraj even begins shoot. The new talent hails from Chikamagalur, and another advantage is the fact that she stands at 5’7” tall, almost as tall as Puneet.

When contacted, speaking from Kundapur, Bhat said, “Yes, she’s the one we’re seriously considering. But, we’re yet to get a signature on the dotted line. All of that will be done once I return to Bangalore next week.” With Deepa almost getting to be part of the film, she becomes the second Kannada girl to act with Puneet this year, with Radhika Pandit doing Hudugru.
