There is no threat to anybody: Malaika Arora Khan on item numbers

Malaika Arora Khan set the trend of item numbers with her sensuous moves in Chaiyya Chaiyya and since then has churned out various chart-busters, the last one being Anarkali. She is now readying for her next outing in Dabangg 2. Ask her about Kareena Kapoor doing an item number in it and she clarifies, “We are still working out various concepts, nothing has been confirmed yet.” Malaika is however appreciative of Kareena who she says is a fantastic dancer. “Even Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone are good,” says Malaika who is unperturbed that heroines have now taken over as item queens.

“There is no threat to anybody. If you are good enough people will come to you. I enjoy dancing but you will not see me in every other film. I make a dance appearance once in two-three years and fans want to see me,” says the hottie.

As for Dabangg 2, Malaika lets on that besides producing the film she may also be a playing a role in it. “We are toying with the idea,” she says. In the meantime, the glamour queen will be seen judging a reality show India’s Got Talent. Malaika, who so far has judged only celebrity-studded dance reality shows, is excited about being part of a show that unearths the talent of common people. “It’s a different ball-game altogether with the aam janta from small-towns across the country showcasing different kinds of talent,” says Malaika who was amazed with a three-year old boy playing the drums.
