The comeback of Nana Patekar and Dimple Kapadia
Nana Patekar and Dimple Kapadia are set to light up the silver screen after 14 long years as the duo has teamed up again for Kabir Sadanand’s forthcoming film Tum Milo Toh Sahi.

Dimple and Nana registered a success with Krantiveer in 1994 and though repeated attempts to bring them together has happened over the years, the film that excites them to come together for the audiences has always been elusive. But when Kabir approached them with this movie, the duo couldn’t resist the plot and thus they forged their comeback.

Though Kabir did not reveal anything about the plot of the movie or the character sketch, he confirmed about the development: “They are just perfect for the roles. It’s difficult to imagine anyone else in their shoes.”

However, an insider close to the movie revealed their character sketches saying: “Nana plays Subramanium aka Subu who is retiring and has no idea what he would do with his life. He has no grandchildren to go back and play with. Forget that, he doesn’t even have a wife.  Subramanium chose duty above all and dedicated his life to the service of his ailing mother. He also diligently worked towards building up the law firm where he worked.  Alone, he tries to battle his loneliness in the movie.”

The informer adds: “Meanwhile, Dimple plays the ever-smiling Delshaad who is roughly the same age as Subramanium but had approached life in a completely different manner. Having lost her parents and then her love at a young age, she battled against the world, to earn a living with dignity and bring her only daughter up. She had now established a unique Irani restaurant with a small attached bookstore where students get not just books, burji-pav and cutting chai, but also the wisdom of life, served with a heart-warming smile.”
