1 Women always tend to go wrong when it comes to choosing their formal outfits. I think it’s time they pick from a range of formal outfits like well-fitted trousers, crisp shirts and skirts.
2 A basic thin-layered jacket or shrug is a must-have for a woman who travels a lot.
3 Accessorising is very important as it accentuates the overall look of the person. One must possess earthy accessories that are simple yet elegant.
4 Always carry a lip balm in your handbag. Dry lips are not just a turnoff for the on-looker, but for you as well.
5 Women without good handbags? A complete no! Since, the over-sized bags are in vogue right now, pick from a range of bags in basic colours for a start. For occasions, one can pick a cute clutch in black, silver or gold.
6 A good perfume depicts the kind of person you are. So, smelling good should be the top priority for any woman! Never overdo it by wearing something too strong, instead go in for pleasant ones.
7 Now that it’s summer, always carry a pair of sunglasses in your bag. If you’ve had a long and tiring day, one can hide those puffy eyes with cool looking shades. As aviators are ‘in’, just pick those for the season.
8 I love hair accessories and have a huge collection of them. A simple hair band or a ‘bling’ hair clip is enough to do the trick when you just don’t want to tie up your hair.
9 As far as shoes are concerned, pick from a range of cut shoes that can be worn for formal occasions and a collection of flip flops that can be worn for casual outing. Shoes tell the onlookers how stylish you are. So, it’s always necessary to wear the right one for the right outfit.
10 Lastly, no matter how stylish you are, basic hygiene is very important. Apart from the usual products you carry in your handbag, make sure you have a hand sanitizer also!
