Sister of the bride—Kangna Ranaut

Actress Kangna Ranaut, who was on a mini-break to celebrate her sister’s shaadi in Bhambla, Manali, made sure that she had a blast on the joyous occasion.

Ranaut, say sources danced to her hearts content and was the life of the celebrations.

“She loves her sister, Rangoli a lot and she was very involved in the wedding rituals and the reception details too. After all, Rangoli’s her only sibling!” says the source.

The actress' sister got hitched to business man Ajay Chandel. A source close to Ranaut says that there was a lot of naach gaana and since it’s not everyday that the local guys get to see an established celebrity amongst their midst, the entire wedding was the talk of the town.

“Rangoli’s wedding was probably the most talked about wedding in Bhambla, and the reason, of course, was Ranaut,” says the source, who is one of Ranaut’s close friends.

The source also adds that Ranaut went completely traditional for the wedding, as she wore a gorgeous churidar on Rangoli’s big day.

“I think people were expecting Ranaut to act like a typical Bollywood actress and flaunt a gown or a modern outfit. Instead, Ranaut wore a dull white churidar. The sleeves ended just below the elbow and the outfit had bright pink borders, adorned with bling, both on the sleeves and a deep V-shaped neckline.She also wore a stunning emerald and diamond necklace with matching earrings. The dupatta was a sheer one, with a pink embellished pink border. She looked simply gorgeous,” says the source adding that while Ranaut was at it, she even taught a few tricks of the trade to the girls who attended the wedding.

“Most girls wanted some tips on make-up and style and Kangy was only too happy to oblige them,” says the source.
