Singer Shaan celebrates Durga Mahotsav with a marvelous performance

It has now become a custom to see Bollywood singer Shaan perform at the Durga Puja Mahotsav each year.

However, the singer outdoes his own performance each time and this time was no different —  he set the stage on fire with popular Bollywood tracks.

The singer came down to Mumbai some two days back, after his performance at the Commonwealth Games closing ceremony in Delhi.

“I was busy with CWG and was not even sure if I will be able to make it to the Durga Mahotsav this time,” said Shaan.

“Since I stay close by, I thought of making a visit,” he added. His impromptu stage performance at Rani Mukerji’s Durga Puja (organised by the North Bombay Sarbajanin Durga Puja Charitable Trust and supported by DNA) brightened the evening.

The singer is currently working on his new solo pop album, which he still has not thought of a name for.

“I am still contemplating what to call it, may be Hum Safar. I hope it doesn’t sound like a ghazal album though,” says Shaan, adding that it is still in the gestation period. Shaan also has some three movies that he is composing  music for.
