Shweta Bharadwaj’s consent to waer bikini got her role in 'Players'

Filmmakers Abbas-Mustan have added one more glam element to the film Players, other than actor Bipasha Basu who is known to be playing a very glamorous role in Players, the official remake of the The Italian Job. Apparently, newbie actor Shweta Bharadwaj was given a chance to star in the film provided that she will don a bikini. And it seems that she has agreed.

“Abbas-Mustan are known to show their actresses in a very glamourous avatar in their films. They are not shying away from doing the same in their upcoming film Players. Shweta, who plays a pivotal character in the film, is going to be donning a bikini in the film and the sequence is one of the highlights of the film,” said a statement from the spokespersons of the actor.

Sources say that though Shweta won’t be promoted as much because there are too many bigger stars in the film, she will be in a if-you-don’t-blink-you-won’t-miss kind of a sequence where she will come on the screen wearing a black bikini.

“The film stars Sonam and Bipasha and both have been given very glamorous parts in the film. Shweta was taken to jazz up the sequence and to add some glam element in the film. Shweta will be the glam element in the film while Bipasha and Sonam are integral parts of the script and the story. There cannot be any comparisons between the two,” says a source. The film is about a team which will attempt a final heist from a thief who had double crossed them. Sources say that Shweta will be an associate of the villain. The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Bobby Deol, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Vinod Khanna.
