Shraddha Kapoor to step out of her camp?

Actor Shraddha Kapoor has been one of those talents in filmmaker Yash Chopra’s youth division of films promoting younger talents. She has done two of their films till now —Teen Patti and Luv Ka The End. But if rumours are to be believed, apparently Shraddha now wants to venture out of her camp.

She has been under the company’s contract from the beginning of her debut film, which restricts her to do only films produced by them. But with only two films done and no other films in her kitty, the actor is thinking of taking up other projects from other production houses.

A source tells us,“Shraddha has been getting offers from other production houses. But  there is nothing major happening with her career. Yes, she is under contract with a big production house, but the number of movies she is being signed up for and the type of movies that are being offered is not working out for Shraddha.

Furthermore, both of her films bombed at the box-office, which didn’t do well for her career. Teen Patti failed inspite of having actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Ben Kingsley in it. Same was the case with Luv Ka The End, that was a small budget film.”

Apart from projects, there has been another issue that has affected Shraddha. “The banner has a new blue-eyed girl — Parineeti Chopra. Shraddha is not happy with the fact that Parineeti is getting all the good offers, in spite of her being there from before. Parineeti made her debut in the film Ladies vs Ricky Bahl and now has Ishaqzaade opposite Boney Kapoor’s son Arjun Kapoor. Whereas Shraddha has no new films as yet,” the source further adds.
