Shane Warne plans Mumbai bash

The Mumbai society circle is abuzz with rumours of a big bash by former Australian skipper, Shane Warne and Hollywood actor/model Elizabeth Hurley as some of  Shane’s best pals are here. Interestingly, Mumbai is also Liz’s former husband Arun Nayar’s hometown.

“Shane Warne has already told his pals that he wants to throw a big bash in Mumbai. Considering the fact that he played for (actor)  Shilpa Shetty’s 20-20 team and made inroads in Mumbai’s society circle, he’s been wanting to throw a big bash in India. Everybody is talking about a few text messages that Shane has sent to his closest pals in Bollywood to know whether they are free for a particular date,” informs an industry source.

“Shane wants to come down to India soon after the marriage. The text that he has sent us says that he is looking forward to host a party in Mumbai with Liz. That is the biggest news that we all sharing with each other,” informs a celebrity who’s also been invited to the party.

“Elizabeth is keen on launching her bikini line in India at the same time,” informs a source, adding that Shane has indicated that he wants to hold a party in December,  which is the possible month for the wedding too.

“In any case, Shane wants all his cricketing pals from Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Bangladesh to also attend the bash. Mumbai is the best bet for him because it is a city that everybody prefers,” the source ends.
