Shahid Kapoor unfollows Shah Rukh Khan on twitter

It might be a click of a button, but it’s a big statement. After ‘unfollowing’ rumoured flame, actor Priyanka Chopra, actor Shahid Kapoor has apparently meted the same treatment to actor Shah Rukh Khan. He has unfollowed his senior on his list according to the buzz online among the followers of both the actors. Interestingly, Shah Rukh seems unaware of the development and is still following Shahid.

“The actors used to follow each other especially after having hosted an award event together. They had interacted and showered compliments on each other during an awards function last year. They were quite updated on each other at that point of time,” says a source.

Shahid yanking off Shah Rukh from his list was apparently quickly detected by their followers on Twitter, and got picked up online sites.  Friends close to the stars feel that the rumours of Shah Rukh getting close to his rumoured former flame, might have contributed to the actor making a strong statement like that.

It’s not clear when Shahid took the step to ‘unfollow’ Shah Rukh as these things are not yet documented on it.  “It must have happened over the last few days, because Shahid had not unfollowed anybody in the pre-Mausam days. Only recently when the number of followers dwindled to 51 made us curious about it.” The other celebrities on his list are Big B. Hrithik Roshan, Sonam Kapoor, Genelia D’Souza and even Amrita Rao. 

The last interaction between Shah Rukh and Shahid on Twitter was after an award’s function on February 28 last year. “You were awesome. Well done my man. God bless you...you are a treat to watch dancing,” tweeted Shah Rukh. Shahid replied, “(Smiley) thanks so much, was pretty much backstage but could hear you bringing the house down but that you always do. Much love and respect.”
