Shahid Kapoor remains a friend: Priyanka Chopra

Actress  Priyanka Chopra has either been away or busy for most part of the year shooting for films. Amidst all this, PC, who has time and again been linked to actor Shahid Kapoor for their on-off romance, is fed up of stories surrounding them.

She has now decided to stop reacting to them and emphatically states, “It’s absolute rubbish and my patience is running out with people who spread these stupid lies. Shahid and I have been friends for long enough to know that if either of us have a problem, we can and will sort it out amongst ourselves. We’ve just started a film together and I’m looking forward to working with him again. He remains a friend and these malicious rumours won’t change that. I just wish that people would be cautious about what they write, especially baseless rumours.”

So considering that she has been claiming that she is single for the longest, would she be open to an arranged marriage?

“As far as arranged marriages go, I am a romantic at heart, so I’d  prefer my knight in shining armour finding me and sweeping me off my feet.” But the family girl in her is quick to add, “My parents have to approve of him!” She refuses to talk about the rumours of actor Kareena Kapoor being upset with her dropping in on her beau, actor Saif Ali Khan’s set recently. “This is what I call making a mountain out of a molehill, and I don’t feel the need to clarify it.” Topic shuts right there!

Her last film Saat Khoon Maaf got her a lot of critical  acclaim, but she had to do a couple of bold scenes in it. Where does the actor in her draw the line? “I don’t like to set limitations on myself as an actor.  Having said that, one of the things that is a complete no-no for me would be nudity.  It’s not something I would be comfortable with at all.”
