Shah Rukh’s still waiting and not watch-ing

Shah Rukh Khan is still waiting for Akshay Kumar’s “expensive” watch to reach him. Now, you must be wondering which watch are we talking about? According to recent reports, Shah Rukh had sent a text message to Akshay congratulating him for his performance in a recent movie. Reportedly, Shah Rukh was so impressed with Akshay’s performance that he even sent him an expensive watch. Akshay apparently decided to outdo Shah Rukh and sent him a far more expensive watch in return.

When we tried to get in touch with Shah Rukh and Gauri to verify this, their staff got back to us and said Akshay’s gift somehow has neither reached Shah Rukh’s bungalow Mannat nor his office.
“Shah Rukh has not received any watch from any of his Bollywood colleagues. We don’t know how Akshay or whoever in his place is claiming this sudden exchange of gifts. But Shah Rukh is in Delhi at the moment and neither he nor Gauri has received any gift packet from Akshay,” says a staff member from Shah Rukh’s team.

The staff member also added that Shah Rukh hasn’t presented any watch to Akshay recently. The staff member says, “Three years ago during the shooting of a song for his home production Om Shanti Om, Shah Rukh had sent out gift packets to all his colleagues who had shot for an item number in the movie. The packet contained a gold coin, a costly watch and a mobile phone.

He had done that again for his industry friends who dropped by on the sets of his TV reality show. He might or might not have sent one of those packets to Akshay then.”
