Shah Rukh Khan takes the time to get it right

While today’s newcomers are jittery after five retakes, superstar Shah Rukh Khan stunned everyone on the sets by rehearsing 20 times before giving the final shot in front of the camera! Apparently the incident happened while Khan was shooting for a special song for his  forthcoming production, directed by Roshan Abbas, that also stars producer Karim Morani’s daughter, Zoa.

“The actor surely gave the newcomers a lesson on perfection while shooting for a song in which SRK makes a special appearance. He asked the director for the lyrics and kept on rehearsing with the choreographer until he got the steps just right. Amazed to see Khan do continous rehearsals, the newbies were in complete awe of him!” says a source from the unit of the film, who was present during the shooting of the promotional video.

The young actors, who were all new to the ways of the industry didn’t utter a word as Khan kept asking for more and more rehearsals because he felt that he was not getting the steps right.

“The kids were awe struck watching Khan rehearse — they wondered where all  the energy and enthusiasm came from and how he managed to focus on the task ignoring all the distractions, even after so many years. It was then that  Roshan told them that this was the trait of a superstar,” the source added.
When asked, Roshan said “Shah Rukh’s keenness to learn the lyrics and the steps had the kids spellbound. They got to see what goes behind making a superstar, first hand. I was shocked to see the energy and vigor they came out with after this experience.”
