Shah Rukh Khan excited about world’s first ‘bad guy sequel’ 'Don 2'

Shah Rukh Khan is very excited about his Christmas release Don 2: The Chase Continues because he says it’s the first time that the bad guy is getting a movie sequel.

The ‘King Khan’ is no stranger to negative roles and is among the few Bollywood leading men who have delivered hits, like Darr and Baazigar, while playing the anti-hero.

“I think it’s the only film in the world where a bad-guy sequel is being made. In Don 2, he’s not trying to save the world, he’s trying to destroy it,” Gulf News quoted Khan as saying at the Dubai International Film Festival.

“When I did Darr or Baazigar, there was a justification to his evil nature. He was either killing his dad’s killer or something went terribly wrong in his childhood,” he said.

“But Don is just a bad guy. No repressed childhood issues or justification there,” he added.
