Sexiest thing is not trying, says Katrina Kaif

Actor Katrina Kaif, who’s already riding high with three back-to-back films with the Khan triumvirate — Ek Tha Tiger with Salman, a Yash Chopra film with Shah Rukh, and Dhoom 3 with Aamir — now has one more reason to rejoice. The Bollywood actor has beaten the likes of Hollywood actresses including Angelina Jolie, Blake Lively and Megan Fox to top the list of World’s Sexiest Women 2012 for the fourth time in a poll conducted by a magazine, it has been revealed.

While actors Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra are at numbers three and six respectively, Anushka Sharma (at number 4) and Bipasha Basu (at number 16) too feature on the list. But ask the Chikni Chameli what 'sexy’ means to her, and the actor says that it has less to do with clothes, and more to do with attitude. “The sexiest thing is not trying. Being sexy isn’t about clothes… For me to wear a cotton sari, sans any make-up and still be desirable is sexy,” says Katrina. As for being voted the sexiest woman yet again, the actor adds, “I’m really excited with the news since it means that people are not voting for me only based on my physical looks, they are looking at me in entirety.” The title for the actor comes close on the heels of being voted the most favourite actress of the children in a nationwide survey.

“It’s her choice of roles and her brand endorsements that make her popular across all age groups,” explains trade analyst Taran Adarsh, as he adds that with her track record, Katrina’s among the reigning hotties at the BO too.
