Why this sudden shift to comedy when your erotic thriller ‘Julie’ made money?

The idea happened by sheer default when I called up Suneil to check about his ailing wife Mana. This is my fifth film with him and my first one with Warsi.

They were very excited with the narration. We finished the entire comedy of errors in a start-to-finish shooting schedule in Goa. Sex-based movies have lost their sting with wacko comedy being in fill swing!

Neha started acting pricey and demanded an exorbitant fee. It was more viable to cast newcomers who could allocate bulk dates. We also have Mahima Mehta and Shravan (of ‘Kuchh Meetha Ho Jaaye’ fame) as cameos.
