Sarah-Jane Dias' oops moment!

For model-turned-actor Sarah-Jane Dias, it was a challenge when she had to revisit her modelling days for her upcoming film.

While on one hand she was happy to relive her ramp days, on the other hand she was super-tensed as she had to re-create a rather infamous and unfortunate incident on the runway.

The scene she had to shoot was apparently that of a wardrobe malfunction from a fashion week, close to six years ago. The film apparently required Sarah to step into the shoes of model Carol Gracias who had to brave through a malfunction. A source from the sets tells us, “In the film, Kya Super Kool Hai Hum, while walking the ramp, Sarah will have a wardrobe malfunction. It’s on the lines of what happened to Carol in 2006. Initially, Sarah was nervous about the whole scene. She didn’t want the scene to portray anything negatively. She has full respect for the modelling profession. So she was extra-careful about what is being portrayed. Having said that, Sarah was a thorough professional and did the scene gracefully. The set, however, had to be emptied when the shot was being taken.”

The scene was also memorable for Sarah because she had to sport a gown that she had worn for a beauty pageant a few years ago.

“So while Sarah was nervous about the malfunction scene, she was on cloud nine because she got to wear the same gown again,” adds the source.
