Salman Khan to return Akshay Kumar’s favour?

It’s all bonhomie and mutual back scratching. Apparently Akshay has invited Salman to be part of his dream project, an invitational Open National Karate Championship and Sallubhai will be making an entry with lady love Katrina Kaif. “The so-called ‘Katrina factor’ is no more, which was made clear after Akshay came on Dus Ka Dum.

Whenever Salman and Akshay meet now, they are very cordial to each other. It’s no surprise then that Akshay has invited Salman and Katrina to be chief guests at the championship,” says a source.

Though Akshay remained unavailable for comment, Mehul Vora, the chief technical director of the event confirmed: “Talks are very much on with them (Salman and Katrina). Akshay has said he would be bringing his Bollywood friends as guests for the tournament. While I cannot reveal much right now, Hurman Baweja and Shatrughan Sinha’s son Luv Sinha are among the names as they are also my students.”

Over 2000 athletes are expected to take part in this event organised by Akshay, besides several international grandmasters. The event takes place from October 22-25 at Andheri Sports Complex.
