Sajid Khan walks out on Kirron Kher

Director Sajid Khan, who is known for speaking his mind and not shying away from venting his emotions, recently had a bitter tiff, in full public view, with actor Kirron Kher. The showdown took place on the sets of talent scouting show India’s Got Talent Khoj 2 on Colors. The argument got out of hand and Sajid staged a walk-out from the jury podium leaving behind an embarrassed and stunned Kirron.

A source present on the sets of the show reveals, “The team was shocked. We only hope that Sajid and Kirron can move on from their differences and hold the show together. Sonali (Bendre), Sajid and Kirron are the three jury members. If two of the three jury members have a fall-out the show will fall flat.

“Everyone knows that Sajid likes to vent his thoughts even if it is in an aggressive manner and Kirron on the other hand is a very accommodating person. The fight happened during the shoot and the place was packed with stunned onlookers when they argued.”

The insider also gives us the context of the fight. “While Sajid might be open to all kinds of performances on the show, he is certainly not open to kids holding swords and flailing sharp objects at a tender age,” says the source. It all began when a team of martial arts students from Punjab displayed their skill. The bone of contention was that the team had little children as participants who were showing off their combating skills using swords on the stage.” The source adds, “Kirron was highly impressed. She began to speak when Sajid interrupted her with his aggressive opinions against children using swords. He expressed his disapproval and got very emotional about the whole situation. He even questioned Kirron’s judgment. The argument soon got out of hand and Sajid walked out of the sets.” Sajid could not be reached for a comment.
