F Romanian belle
The gorgeous Romanian who was seen in U Me Aur Hum, Julia Verdes, now dominates billboards for Tanishq and Ponds. Since winning the crown of Miss Romania, Julia has not looked back.

Recalling  her days from the pageant, Julia says, “A gypsy woman had once predicted that I would be a princess one day. After winning the title, I have been living a fairytale dream.” Incidentally, Julia was in law school when she was whisked away by the world of fashion and glamour.

F Across continents
She has ben travelling across continents to various countries—LA to Paris to Tokyo on modelling assignments. However, coming to India was a turning point in her life. 

 “India was never on my schedule. I happened to know a Pakistani guy who went all gaga over India and the people here. He also gave me a DVD of Veer Zaara and that amazing song Aisa Des Hai Mera. Then things turned my way and here I am,” she says.
 
F Walking the runway
Julia has walked the ramp for veteran designers like Narendra Kumar, Anita Dongre, Neeta Lulla, and Vikram Phadnis at the Lakme Fashion Week.

She says, “Initially, I was scared to sashay down the ramp. But the adrenalin rush keeps me running. It’s a stunning moment when all eyes are on you.” However, she insists, it is more exciting backstage having fun with the other models.

F Bollywood calling
In U Me Aur Hum, Julia was seen playing cupid to bring Kajol and Ajay Devgan together. Talking about the experience, she says, “I froze when I had to mouth the Hindi dialogues in front of the director.  In future, she wants to pen a love story and have someone to adapt it into a Bollywood script.

So, is she the mistress of all trades? The leggy lass laughs and says, “My life is like a jigsaw puzzle. Until I put all the pieces together, you won’t know who I am.”
