Ritu decides to skirt it

Day two of the Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week turned out to be a good day for old hands at work. Ritu Kumar scored big time — her collection looked international despite the Indian elements in her garments. Rina Dhaka delivered with her blacks as usual. Deepika Govind’s weaves impressed many, while the Neeta Bhargava and Ashish Pandey shows went nearly empty.

Parvez Damania (in a green suit) looked happy to watch Tania Zaetta in her body painted floral get-up for Neeta Bhargava. Malini Ramani and Tarun Tahliani were inseparable (so far, they’ve been coming for shows mostly together). Also seen was theatre personality Dolly Thakore in her red bindi and flowing white skirt, which did draw a lot of attention from the electronic media.

Arti Surendranath looked like a million bucks in a nice floral white churidar and kameez, but hubby Kailash didn’t quite make the style cut. Bina Ramani looked happy to be back on the party circuit. The other people who won stares today included Manish Malhotra in a printed shirt and model Muzzamil (despite Upen Patel being around).

Glares seem to be a big hit everywhere — from the green rooms to the audiences outside! Quite a spectacle we must say!
