Rambha and her ace wig

She is back after a long sabbatical. And this time Rambha wants to make it really big. The actor makes a comeback with Quickgun Murugun, a film in which the producers have coughed up a whopping Rs15 lakh just for a wig that she sports in
the movie.

Rambha dons a special look in the film that is inspired from a Barbie doll. Her look has been designed to essentially enhance her character called Mango Dolly, a blonde and sultry seductress who is actually a gangster’s moll.

A source says, “The designer chose to make her wear a blonde wig that cost the producers a fortune. None of the wigs made in India were blonde. So, when the production house couldn’t get the right kind of wig, they got in touch with various wig makers and finally zeroed in on one in Los Angeles. After a lot of sampling, the director decided to import the wig from Los Angeles. Priced at Rs15 lakh, it took them more than a month to lay their hands on this perfect wig for Rambha.”

The insider adds, “Mango Dolly is an essential part of the film. She is as important as Quickgun Murugan. Our endeavour has been to make her look desirable and voluptuous in every scene just like a modern day Barbie doll.”
