Raima Sen on a groom hunt!

Even if a Bollywood actor declares that he or she is single, speculation is always rife about whom the actor is dating, away from prying eyes.

Take actress Raima Sen for example: she’s been shouting from rooftops that she’s very much single but is still linked to almost every guy she is spotted with. The actor laughs this phenomenon off as just another occupational hazard, but not before admitting that she is not against ‘settling down’.

“I have to find the right guy for that. I can’t marry just for the sake of it,” she states adding that the pressure to find herself a groom is mounting by the minute. So, how is she dealing with constant queries regarding her impending marriage? “I tell people the same thing — that I have to find the right guy first. But since it seems like I’m not able to hit jackpot, I’ve asked my mom to do the needful for me,” laughs Raima.

The actress says that her mother has been looking for a potential groom in every guy she meets, ever since she has delegated the mammoth task to her. And not just Raima’s mother, the actress tells anybody who seems concerned about her marriage to find her a groom.

“Well, since people around me seem so bothered about my well-being, then they better chip in and find me a groom,” she muses. And what are the qualities she is looking for in her ideal man? “There’s no list as such, but yes, he has to have a sense of humour and not get affected by idle gossip that does the rounds in Bollywood,” says Raima recalling the innumerable times she has been linked to her co-stars (Tusshar Kapoor and Randeep Hooda, for instance) when a movie with them is about to release.

“These days I don’t even bother clarifying link-up rumours because they die a natural death once the movie has released. Then people realise that there was no base to these link-ups on their own,” she winks.
