Priyanka Chopra upset over no National Award for 'Barfi!'

Actress Priyanka Chopra, whose performance in Barfi! was appreciated by the audience, is upset that the film did not get a single National award.

The winners of the 60th National Film Awards were announced in Mumbai on Monday.

"I am feeling bad that Barfi! did not win National Award. But then it is up to the jury why they did not give the award," Priyanka told reporters in Mumbai at the launch of her first item song Babli badmaash.

Barfi! was a love story between a deaf and mute boy, played by Ranbir Kapoor, and an autistic girl, played by Priyanka.

Though the movie did not win a National Award, Priyanka is happy for her cousin Parineeti, who won a special mention for her performance in Ishaqzaade.

"I am happy for her. Now in the Chopra family, there are two National Awards. The whole day, I had to explain what special mention means," said Priyanka.
